Prophet remarks: Telangana on high alert as protests erupt against Raja Singh
Hyderabad: A huge number of cops have been deployed outside the offices of the Hyderabad police commissioner, the Director General of Police office at Lakdikapul, and the old police commissioner office at Purani Haveli and other important places in the city after protests erupted against BJP MLA Raja Singh for his remarks against Prophet Muhammad. Meanwhile, police have also increased security in and around Mangalhat and Dhoolpet fearing attacks on Raja Singh. Police officials said that security is being heightened, as a ‘Chalo Goshamahal’ protest is being planned as seen on social media. Hyderabad: Raja Singh’s ‘comedy’ video made private after protests
Hyderabad: The video in which Goshamahal BJP MLA Raja Singh made derogatory comments about Prophet Muhammad is now made private. Earlier, after the release of the video, protests broke out in front of city police commissioner CV Anand’s office and at other various places. Prophet remarks: Protesters demanding Raja Singh’s arrest detained
Hyderabad: Several protestors were arrested for protesting against BJP MLA T Raja Singh for his alleged offensive remarks against Prophet Muhammad. Several people gathered in front of city police commissioner CV Anand’s office after the MLA’s video was released. Task force sleuths along with the law and order police picked up the protesters who had gathered at Basheerbagh crossroads demanding the arrest of Raja Singh. Hyderabad police book BJP MLA Raja Singh for remarks on Prophet Muhammad
Hyderabad: The South Zone police on early Tuesday morning registered an FIR against Goshamahal BJP legislator T Raja Singh for his alleged blasphemous remarks against Prophet Muhammad. It came after scores of people took to the streets demanding action against him. Following that, the police have an fIR under various sections of IPC for hate mongering. K. Kavitha to file defamation suit against BJP leaders
MLC K Kavitha will file a defamation suit against two Delhi BJP leaders – MP Parvesh Varma and former MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa for their allegations she was involved in the multi-crore liquor policy scam in Delhi. Hyderabad: Inter-state drug peddlers nabbed, 590 kg ganja seized
Hyderabad: A Special Operation Team of LB Nagar Zone along with Abdullapurmet Police arrested six people who were caught with 590 kgs of ganja. According to the press release, the prime accused Karan Parusharam Parkale, hailing from Maharashtra got involved in the illegal transportation of ganja from Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Maharashtra in 2019. Hyderabad: Man kills wife in front of children over dowry
Hyderabad: In an incident reported from Uppal, a man in August 19 allegedly murdered his wife over dowry as the children watched in awe. The accused was identified as P Deepak, a resident of Kurmanagar. The deceased was identified as 33 -year-old Vidyabharathi. The couple frequently quarreled over the issue. Two years ago, Vidyabharthi reportedly filed a complaint with the Uppal police station against Deepak stating that she was harassed for dowry. Following the complaint, the police helped the couple reconcile. However Deepak resorted to violence against his wife, and he left the house following an argument.
